TRIMBLE COUNTY LIBRARY SCHEDULE

The following events are scheduled in August at the Trimble County Library, located at 35 Equity Drive, Bedford.

Reoccurring events

Tuesdays

6 p.m.

Yoga: Wear comfortable clothes and bring your mat for this restorative yoga class. Great for all levels of fitness and experience. Start your yoga journey here. Recommended for ages 14-plus.

Wednesdays

10:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Storytime: Story time is fun for all ages. Babies and toddlers will enjoy the first session at 10:30 a.m. that has songs, rhymes and open play. Preschool aged children will enjoy the 11:30 a.m. session that still has lots of songs and rhymes, but more books. No registration required. Newcomers welcome! Each storytime is followed by Imagination Station play time.

Thursdays

10 a.m.

Coffee, Coloring and Crosswords: Stop in the library to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and your choice of seasonal coloring pages or crossword puzzles. This is a great opportunity to meet up with friends and chat.

One-time events

La Leche League

Thursday, Aug. 24

10 a.m.

Meet up with other moms and little ones for nursing, nutrition and parenting support. Newcomers are always welcome. Snacks are provided. The group meets in the children’s department.

DIY Coasters

Thursday, Aug. 24

6 p.m.

Learn how to make your own coasters using supplies provided by the Library. These coasters are perfect for gifts or just fun ways to express yourself. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Trivia Night

Thursday, Aug. 31

6 p.m.

Adults & teens ages 14 and up are invited to a fun & friendly trivia competition on the last Thursday of each month. This month share your knowledge of 1990s pop culture from the entire decade! Do you know what the Spice Girls’ first #1 hit was? Join us on Thursday, August 31st from 6-7 PM in the library meeting room. Pizza will be served, and bragging rights and prizes will be awarded. Please register in advance by calling 502-255-7362.
